Rubrik has introduced Rubrik Agent Cloud (RAC) for the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, marking a major step toward securing and governing enterprise AI agents. Through this collaboration with Google Cloud, organizations can now accelerate AI adoption while maintaining strong control over agent behavior and operational risks.

As enterprises increasingly adopt AI-driven automation, governance and security have become critical concerns. In fact, Gartner predicts that 40% of enterprise applications will integrate task-specific AI agents by 2026. Therefore, the need for real-time oversight and control is more important than ever. To address this, Rubrik’s new integration introduces a unified control layer that enables organizations to monitor, govern, and remediate AI actions instantly.

At the core of this solution is Rubrik’s Semantic AI Governance Engine (SAGE), which powers RAC with intent-based guardrails. Moreover, the solution includes a unique “Agent Rewind” capability, allowing organizations to instantly reverse unintended or harmful actions performed by AI agents. This feature significantly reduces operational risk by enabling rapid recovery from errors or malicious activity.

Furthermore, the unified AI control pane integrates seamlessly with existing environments, including Google Workspace and hybrid cloud systems. Consequently, administrators can manage AI security policies from a single platform, simplifying operations and improving efficiency.
