MyLovely.AI, an AI girlfriend platform, suffered a data breach that exposed over 100,000 users.
MyLovely.AI has reportedly suffered a significant data breach, exposing sensitive user data linked to its AI companion platform, known for enabling personalized NSFW content creation and real-time interactions. The incident has raised serious concerns around user privacy and the growing risks associated with AI-driven platforms handling highly personal digital content.
The breach is understood to have compromised a wide range of user information, including email addresses, user-generated prompts, and direct links to AI-generated images. In some cases, limited social media details such as Discord and X (formerly Twitter) usernames were also exposed, increasing the potential for user identification.
Further details indicate that the leaked dataset includes structured platform data such as user IDs, prompts, generated images, metadata, and even internal content moderation reports. Several JSON files -labelled Profiles, Gallery_Items, Community_Items, and Collections – were also part of the breach, containing subscription details, storage links, and collection-level metadata tied to user activity.
One of the most concerning aspects of the incident is the exposure of approximately 113,000 explicit prompts, with nearly 70,000 of them directly linked to identifiable user IDs. Given the deeply personal nature of these prompts, this significantly elevates the severity of the breach.
The nature of the platform amplifies the potential risks for affected users. With highly sensitive and explicit content now exposed, individuals may face threats such as sextortion or targeted harassment, particularly if attackers are able to connect leaked data with real-world identities.
This incident highlights the growing cybersecurity challenges surrounding AI-powered platforms that manage intimate and user-generated content at scale. As adoption of such platforms increases, ensuring robust data protection, encryption, and access controls will be critical to safeguarding user trust and preventing similar breaches in the future.
