As demand for integrated security and compliance solutions continues to rise, DataGuard has appointed Andrew Foley as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With this move, the company aims to strengthen its global go-to-market strategy and accelerate international expansion.

In this role, Foley will lead DataGuard’s global revenue organization, overseeing sales for both new and existing customers, as well as marketing, partner ecosystems, and revenue operations. Therefore, his leadership is expected to play a critical role in enhancing the company’s market presence while aligning growth strategies across regions.

Foley brings more than 15 years of experience in artificial intelligence, B2B software, and enterprise technology. Most recently, he served as General Manager EMEA at Vanta, where he led regional go-to-market initiatives. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Google, including serving as Sector Lead for Google Cloud in Germany. Earlier in his career, he held a leadership role as Sales Director at Meltwater. As a result, Foley brings deep expertise in scaling high-growth technology businesses across international markets.

Moreover, this appointment reflects DataGuard’s broader strategy to strengthen its leadership in sales and marketing amid increasing demand for security and compliance solutions. As regulatory frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive and the EU AI Act continue to evolve, organizations are facing growing complexity in managing compliance requirements. Consequently, businesses are seeking scalable solutions that can adapt to both regulatory changes and operational growth.

To address these challenges, DataGuard combines an AI-powered platform with expert-led services, enabling organizations to manage security and compliance efficiently without compromising reliability. This integrated approach positions the company to meet the needs of enterprises navigating increasingly complex regulatory environments.

“Andrew brings extensive experience in security, AI, and cloud computing, and has already successfully scaled several high-growth technology companies internationally,” says Thomas Regier, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of DataGuard. “He will play a key role in shaping our next growth phase and further expanding our international presence.”

“Today, companies need to structure their security and compliance in a way that keeps pace with their growth,” says Andrew Foley. “DataGuard combines AI-powered workflow automation with deep expertise. This approach helps companies manage complexity. My goal is to further refine our market strategy and enable sustainable growth for customers and partners.”

Ultimately, Foley’s appointment signals DataGuard’s commitment to scaling its global footprint while addressing the evolving needs of modern enterprises. By strengthening its leadership team and refining its go-to-market strategy, the company is positioning itself for sustained growth in the competitive security and compliance landscape.
