Dragos Inc., a global leader in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity, has announced the appointment of Kaori Nieda as its first Country Manager for Japan. Headquartered in Hanover, Maryland, the company is expanding its regional footprint to better support industrial and critical infrastructure organizations facing increasingly complex cyber threats.

This appointment builds on Dragos’s existing foundation in Japan, particularly through its partnership with Macnica, and reflects a deeper commitment to the market. Nieda will lead efforts to enhance Dragos’s capabilities in protecting operational technology environments and cyber-physical systems across Japan, while also driving growth and strengthening relationships with customers and partners.

With over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, Nieda brings extensive expertise in threat intelligence, XDR, network security, and SaaS-based security solutions. She has a strong track record of expanding global security businesses in Japan, working across enterprises, service providers, and public sector organizations. Her leadership experience includes building high-performing teams, executing go-to-market strategies, and cultivating executive-level partnerships.

Prior to joining Dragos, Nieda served as Country Manager at Amplitude Analytics GK, where she successfully transformed the organization by doubling its fiscal year performance, securing strategic customers, and rebuilding its market strategy. Her proven ability to scale operations and drive business growth positions her well to lead Dragos’s next phase in Japan.

Commenting on her new role, Nieda expressed enthusiasm about joining Dragos at a pivotal time, noting the growing complexity of cyber threats facing Japan’s industrial sector. She emphasized the importance of collaboration with customers and partners to strengthen operational technology resilience across the region.

Echoing this sentiment, Hayley Turner highlighted Japan as a critical and fast-growing market for Dragos. She noted that expanding the company’s presence in the region remains a top priority and that Nieda’s expertise and leadership make her a valuable addition to the team.

As cyber risks continue to evolve, Dragos is reinforcing its commitment to innovation, regional partnerships, and advanced security solutions to help Japan’s industrial ecosystem remain resilient in an increasingly connected world.
