Siemens Smart Infrastructure has announced a strategic agreement with Viakoo to deliver the Viakoo Action Platform™, expanding its capabilities in securing enterprise OT and IoT environments. The collaboration introduces an automated, scalable solution designed to help organizations manage, analyze, and protect their rapidly growing fleets of connected devices while ensuring continuous compliance and cyber hygiene.
As enterprises increasingly rely on Internet of Things (IoT) and Operational Technology (OT) devices to power critical operations, the attack surface for cyber threats has expanded significantly. Industry estimates suggest that organizations now manage between five and ten connected devices per employee, many of which lack the robust security controls typically applied to traditional IT systems.
