Sentra addresses this by discovering and classifying sensitive data across Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, while identifying redundant or abandoned content that should be removed before AI deployment.
Another major concern is over permissioning. Broad access controls and shared drives can lead to excessive exposure when combined with AI capabilities. Sentra mitigates this risk by mapping identities and access levels to sensitive data, identifying risky sharing configurations, and guiding organizations toward least privilege access models.
Data labeling also plays a critical role in AI security. Incomplete or inaccurate labels can weaken policy enforcement and lead to unintended data exposure. Sentra enhances this process by applying high accuracy classification and automatically assigning sensitivity labels across Google Workspace, ensuring that data protection policies remain effective as content evolves.
The solution also addresses risks associated with AI generated outputs. Without proper safeguards, AI tools can aggregate and reproduce sensitive information in responses that are easy to share or distribute. By strengthening labeling and integrating with Google Workspace data loss prevention controls, Sentra helps prevent sensitive data from being exposed in AI generated emails, documents, and chats.

This ensures compliance with data residency requirements while supporting a wide range of business functions including HR, legal, finance, and research.
The platform’s efficient scanning architecture also reduces operational overhead, requiring significantly fewer API calls compared to conventional methods. This helps organizations manage cloud costs while scaling their AI initiatives.
