Dataminr for Cyber Defense, the first unified solution from the acquisition of ThreatConnect, fuses real-time intelligence with detailed internal posture to contextualize, prioritize, and automate the entire threat management lifecycle
Dataminr has announced the launch of Dataminr for Cyber Defense, a next-generation suite of AI-powered solutions designed to deliver real-time, preemptive threat intelligence and risk mitigation. The launch marks a significant advancement in cybersecurity innovation, enabling organizations to move beyond reactive alerting toward predictive, intelligence-driven defense strategies.
Built with agentic and predictive AI at its core, Dataminr for Cyber Defense integrates external threat intelligence with internal telemetry to provide highly contextualized, client-specific insights. This unified approach allows organizations to identify, prioritize, and respond to cyber threats based on real-time business impact, strengthening both operational resilience and security posture.
The platform introduces three core solutions tailored to varying levels of security maturity. The first, Client-Tailored Threat Intelligence, leverages AI to filter noise and highlight relevant threats by combining external signals with internal data. This enables security teams to gain real-time visibility while also anticipating emerging risks without relying on manual research processes.
The second solution, Agentic TI Ops, redefines traditional threat intelligence platforms by orchestrating investigation, enrichment, and response workflows through automation. By integrating multiple intelligence sources, it reduces analyst workload while maintaining flexibility and control over security operations.
The third component, Predictive Threat Exposure Management, focuses on Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). It combines risk quantification with vulnerability assessment to help organizations prioritize actions based on measurable business impact rather than static scoring systems. This allows security leaders to align cyber defense strategies with financial and operational priorities.
Jen Easterly, Chair of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board, emphasized the importance of proactive defense in today’s threat landscape. She noted that as cyberattacks increasingly operate at machine speed, organizations must adopt agentic AI to detect, understand, and neutralize threats before they cause material damage.
Dataminr’s CEO and Founder, Ted Bailey, highlighted the company’s strategic vision following its acquisition of ThreatConnect. By unifying external threat signals with internal data, Dataminr aims to provide organizations with actionable clarity, enabling faster and more precise decision-making. He stressed that traditional static threat intelligence models are no longer sufficient in a rapidly evolving cyber environment.
At the core of the platform is Dataminr’s advanced AI architecture, powered by more than 55 proprietary large language models and over a decade of event data. Using Multi-Modal Fusion AI, ReGenAI, and agentic intelligence agents, the system continuously analyzes data from over one million public sources. This enables real-time detection, predictive insights, and automated response capabilities at scale.
The impact of this technology is already evident in customer deployments. Organizations using Dataminr’s solutions have reported significant improvements in operational efficiency, including faster investigation cycles and reduced mean time to respond (MTTR). By enabling quicker detection and response, the platform helps minimize financial and operational risks associated with cyber incidents.
As cybersecurity threats grow in complexity and frequency, Dataminr for Cyber Defense represents a shift toward unified, AI-driven risk intelligence. By combining predictive analytics, automation, and real-time data integration, the platform empowers organizations to proactively defend against evolving threats while maintaining business continuity.
