At the RSAC Conference 2026, RSA introduced its latest innovation—RSA® ID Plus Sovereign Deployment—marking a major advancement in high-assurance identity security. As organizations face increasing regulatory pressure, evolving cyber threats, and the need for constant system availability, RSA is stepping forward with a solution designed to meet these complex demands.

Built as the next evolution of RSA® ID Plus, this new offering enhances identity and access management (IAM) by delivering a full-stack platform that includes multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and advanced access controls. More importantly, the Sovereign Deployment model introduces a flexible “deploy anywhere” capability, enabling organizations to maintain strict compliance while modernizing their infrastructure.

With this approach, enterprises can deploy identity solutions across private cloud, multi-cloud, on-premises, or even air-gapped environments. Consequently, industries such as government, financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure can operate securely without compromising on availability or regulatory requirements. Unlike traditional solutions that limit capabilities based on deployment environments, RSA ensures consistent functionality regardless of where the system is implemented.

“RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment is a direct response to the intensifying regulatory landscape, operational realities, and emerging threats that our customers face,” said RSA CEO Greg Nelson. “We built this solution for high-assurance organizations where failure is not an option and where compromise is a non-starter. RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment ensures that government agencies, financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure maintain the highest standards for data sovereignty, regulatory compliance, and security integrity.”

Furthermore, RSA emphasizes that this solution is engineered to exceed compliance requirements. It aligns with major global regulations and mandates, including Executive Order 14028, OMB guidelines, NIS2, and DORA. As a result, organizations can confidently address both regional and international data sovereignty challenges.

“In a threat landscape where standing still is its own vulnerability, RSA is raising the bar,” said RSA Federal and Strategic President Kevin Orr. “RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment is the first and only full stack identity solution that enables government agencies, financial services, critical infrastructure, and healthcare organizations to modernize their identity infrastructure while meeting regulatory requirements and supporting operational complexity—without ever compromising on security or availability.”

Additionally, the platform introduces several advanced capabilities. These include unified identity governance and administration across all environments, phishing-resistant passwordless authentication, and enhanced protection against advanced cyberattacks using RSA® Mobile Lock and RSA® Risk AI. The solution also strengthens operational resilience by offering redundant authentication through RSA Authentication Manager, ensuring continuity even during cloud outages.

Ultimately, RSA’s new deployment model empowers organizations to take full control of their identity security. By combining flexibility, compliance, and advanced threat protection, RSA ID Plus Sovereign Deployment sets a new benchmark for safeguarding sensitive data in today’s highly complex and threat-driven digital landscape.
