Booz Allen Hamilton has unveiled its latest AI-driven cybersecurity innovations at RSAC 2026, highlighting a new suite of products designed to counter rapidly evolving cyber threats targeting national security and critical infrastructure. The announcement underscores the growing urgency for organizations to adopt AI-powered defenses as attackers increasingly operate at unprecedented speed.
Alongside the product showcase, the company released a new threat report titled “When Cyberattacks Happen at AI Speed,” which reveals a dramatic acceleration in attack timelines. According to the findings, the average time for attackers to move laterally within compromised systems has dropped to under 30 minutes, with some incidents occurring in mere seconds. Activities that once required weeks or months such as breaching enterprise boundaries can now be completed in minutes.
To address this shift, Booz Allen introduced its Vellox suite, an AI-native cybersecurity platform designed to integrate with existing technology environments. The platform leverages machine-speed automation combined with models trained on real-world adversary behavior, enabling organizations to detect and respond to threats more rapidly and effectively.
The Vellox suite includes several specialized components. Vellox Reverser, now generally available, focuses on automated malware analysis and threat intelligence, delivering actionable insights within minutes. Vellox Ranger, currently in limited preview, enhances detection engineering by mapping environments and identifying adversary activity while reducing false positives. Vellox Striker simulates AI-powered attacks to uncover vulnerabilities and improve defensive readiness.
Additional tools are expected to launch soon. Vellox Navigator is designed to provide continuous monitoring and real-time compliance assessment, while Vellox Responder will enable automated threat containment and remediation across cloud, infrastructure, and application layers. Booz Allen emphasized that the platform is built on decades of cybersecurity expertise, combining insights from both offensive and defensive operations. By training AI models on real adversary tactics, the company aims to help organizations anticipate and counter advanced threats with greater precision.
Brad Medairy, executive vice president and leader of Booz Allen’s national cyber business, noted that cybersecurity has become a race against time, with attackers leveraging AI to move faster than traditional defenses can respond. He said the Vellox platform is designed to close that gap by enabling machine-speed defense.
Andrew Turner, head of Booz Allen’s global commercial cyber business, added that the company’s approach goes beyond studying adversaries. By simulating AI-driven attack techniques, Booz Allen is equipping defenders with the tools needed to predict, detect, and respond to threats more effectively With cyber threats continuing to evolve in scale and speed, Booz Allen’s Vellox suite represents a shift toward proactive, AI-driven security strategies aimed at protecting both government and enterprise environments in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
