Neon Cyber has announced a strategic partnership with SpyCloud aimed at enhancing identity security through advanced threat intelligence and compromised credential visibility. The collaboration combines Neon Cyber’s security platform with SpyCloud’s extensive repository of recaptured identity data, enabling organizations to quickly identify whether user credentials have been exposed in breaches, phishing attacks, or malware infections.

The partnership addresses a growing challenge in cybersecurity the widespread misuse of stolen credentials. Despite increased awareness and training, human-related factors continue to play a significant role in breaches, with compromised credentials remaining a primary entry point for attackers. Once exposed, usernames and passwords are often rapidly used in credential stuffing attacks across multiple Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, increasing the risk of account takeovers By integrating SpyCloud’s intelligence, Neon Cyber customers gain immediate visibility into compromised identities, along with contextual insights sourced from dark web activity and underground data markets. This allows security teams to act quickly resetting credentials, enforcing stronger authentication, and preventing attackers from exploiting stolen data.

Cody Pierce, CEO and Co-Founder of Neon Cyber, described the partnership as a major step forward in identity security. He emphasized that providing real-time visibility into compromised accounts enables organizations to respond with urgency and prevent attackers from leveraging exposed credentials across both business and personal applications. SpyCloud’s data further highlights the scale of the issue. A significant portion of users continue to reuse passwords across multiple accounts, increasing the likelihood that a single breach can lead to widespread compromise. Travis Thornton, Global Vice President of Partnerships at SpyCloud, noted that this behavior amplifies the impact of stolen credentials, making timely and actionable intelligence critical for reducing risk.

As part of the integration, Neon Cyber users will automatically gain access to enhanced identity security capabilities within the platform. These include improved visualizations and contextual insights that clearly indicate when and where credentials have been exposed. The update is seamlessly delivered, requiring no additional action from customers. The partnership is expected to help organizations strengthen their defense against credential-based attacks by combining proactive detection with actionable intelligence. By identifying compromised identities early, businesses can mitigate risks before they escalate into full-scale breaches. Neon Cyber and SpyCloud plan to showcase their joint capabilities at the upcoming RSAC Conference in San Francisco, where they will engage with industry leaders and demonstrate how integrated identity intelligence can improve security outcomes in today’s evolving threat landscape.
