Accenture has announced new enhancements to its Adaptive Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) platform, designed to strengthen cybersecurity operations by integrating advanced AI-driven capabilities with Microsoft Security solutions. Through this expansion, Accenture, Microsoft, and their joint venture Avanade aim to deliver more intelligent, automated, and data-driven cybersecurity solutions that help organizations detect threats faster, improve operational efficiency, and build stronger business resilience.

As cyber threats continue to evolve in scale and sophistication, organizations face increasing pressure to modernize their defense strategies. According to Accenture’s latest research, 74% of CEOs are concerned about their organization’s ability to minimize cyberattacks. Therefore, the need for proactive, AI-powered security solutions has become more urgent than ever. Accenture’s enhanced MxDR platform directly addresses this challenge by introducing agentic AI capabilities that autonomously detect, analyze, and respond to threats in real time.

Additionally, the integration with Microsoft’s Sentinel data lake enables faster and more accurate threat detection using AI-powered analytics, significantly improving investigation and response times.
