As credential based attacks continue to rise, organizations are under increasing pressure to identify and mitigate risks before they escalate into breaches. Dashlane’s latest innovation aims to address this challenge by advancing credential security through AI driven insights and proactive threat detection.
Dashlane has introduced Omnix AI Advisor, a natural language AI security assistant embedded within its Omnix platform, designed to help enterprises shift from reactive defense to proactive credential protection. The solution leverages real time credential risk data, including phishing activity and dark web exposure, to deliver contextual and actionable intelligence for security teams.
Credential related threats remain a major entry point for cyberattacks, particularly as employees increasingly rely on browsers and cloud applications for daily operations. However, the volume of security data generated across systems often makes it difficult for teams to prioritize risks effectively. Omnix AI Advisor addresses this challenge by correlating multiple data signals to identify patterns and highlight the most critical vulnerabilities.
According to Dashlane, the Omnix platform collects credential risk data across all protected employee browsers, regardless of whether a password vault is in use. This broad visibility enables the AI Advisor to surface threats that may not be detected by traditional tools, offering organizations a more comprehensive view of their security posture.
John Bennett, CEO of Dashlane, emphasized the importance of actionable intelligence in modern security environments. “Our AI Advisor draws from Omnix’s deep visibility into credential risk to arm security teams with unprecedented insight into threats across their workforce, so they can act quickly,” said John Bennett, Dashlane CEO. “Dashlane is ushering in a secure AI future with security and privacy built-in by design, not bolted on. We’re committed to building and securing AI today in a way that the entire industry will follow tomorrow.”
A key aspect of the platform is its focus on privacy and secure data processing. Omnix AI Advisor operates within Dashlane’s Confidential AI Engine, which uses a secure enclave architecture to ensure that sensitive credential data is decrypted, processed, and re encrypted within a hardware isolated environment. This approach aligns with zero knowledge security principles, ensuring that neither Dashlane nor third parties can access the underlying data.
Industry concerns around AI driven data exposure have grown in recent years, particularly as organizations adopt AI tools that process sensitive information. Dashlane’s approach aims to address these concerns by combining AI capabilities with strong data protection controls.
Leo Cunningham, Chief Information Security Officer at Owkin, highlighted the need for secure AI adoption. “Our security team is seeking to leverage AI as a force multiplier so we can focus more time on strategic work and serving the business. However, we must do so responsibly, in partnership with security solutions we can trust with our corporate data,” said Leo Cunningham, CISO at AI biotech pioneer Owkin. “Dashlane’s security-first approach to AI is exactly what our business demands, and one reason why Omnix is a key platform in protecting our workforce and customers.”
Omnix AI Advisor also enables security teams to interact with data using natural language queries, simplifying complex analysis tasks. It can identify high risk users, generate compliance reports, and provide recommendations for remediation. Additionally, integration with external security operations platforms through Model Context Protocol allows organizations to extend credential intelligence into broader workflows.
The launch of Omnix AI Advisor reflects a growing shift toward AI driven credential security strategies. As threat actors increasingly exploit identity and access vulnerabilities, solutions that combine real time intelligence, automation, and privacy focused design are becoming essential for protecting enterprise environments.
