As enterprises increasingly rely on channel partners to deploy and manage cybersecurity solutions, vendors are refining partner programs to drive stronger alignment and scalable growth. Rapid7’s latest updates to its 2026 PACT Partner Program reflect this shift, aiming to enhance partner led go to market strategies and improve profitability across its ecosystem.
Rapid7, a provider of AI powered managed cybersecurity operations, has announced a series of updates to its PACT Partner Program for 2026. The changes are designed to simplify engagement models, introduce clearer partner tiering, and improve economic incentives for partners working with Rapid7 solutions. The initiative underscores the company’s long standing strategy of building strong go to market alignment with its partner network to deliver better customer outcomes.
As demand grows for AI integrated cybersecurity solutions and outcome driven security services, organizations are increasingly turning to trusted partners for implementation and ongoing operations. Rapid7’s updated program aims to support this trend by creating a more predictable and scalable framework for partners delivering managed detection and response and other recurring security services.
Suzanne Swanson, vice president of global channel partnerships at Rapid7, emphasized the importance of partner collaboration in driving business success. “Partners are central to how we go to market,” said Suzanne Swanson, vice president of global channel partnerships at Rapid7. “Our focus is on building tight alignment across engagement models, economics, and execution so partners can grow with us and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers. The 2026 PACT updates make it simpler and more predictable for partners to build and scale their security practices with Rapid7.”
One of the key updates is the introduction of a Platinum Partner tier, designed to recognize strategic partners that demonstrate consistent performance, strong customer impact, and deep engagement. This tier aims to strengthen relationships with top performing partners while providing them with enhanced opportunities for collaboration and growth.
The program also introduces simplified deal motions, focusing on two primary engagement models: deal registration for partner sourced opportunities and co sell for opportunities initiated by Rapid7. This structure is intended to reduce complexity, improve transparency, and ensure clearer attribution between partners and Rapid7 teams.
In addition, the updated program offers improved economics for partner sourced deals. By aligning product categories, simplifying deal processes, and enabling faster quoting, Rapid7 aims to provide partners with greater margin clarity and financial predictability. These enhancements are particularly important for partners delivering recurring services where consistent revenue streams and operational efficiency are critical.
Another notable addition is the Tech Champion Program, which provides structured enablement for partner sales engineers. This includes early access to product roadmaps and opportunities for deeper technical collaboration, helping partners better support complex customer requirements in areas such as managed detection and exposure management.
The updated PACT framework also highlights the role of long term partnerships in driving mutual success. Saepio, one of Rapid7’s inaugural Platinum Partners, has worked with the company for more than eight years. Paul Mullen, cybersecurity vendor manager at Saepio, commented: “Being recognized as a Rapid7 Platinum Partner is a milestone that reflects the strength of our partnership over the past 8-plus years. Our relationship with Rapid7 has always been built on more than business performance. It is grounded in a strong cultural alignment, a shared strategic direction, and mutual ambitions for continued growth.”
The enhancements to the 2026 PACT Partner Program signal Rapid7’s continued investment in its channel ecosystem. By simplifying engagement, improving economics, and strengthening collaboration, the company aims to help partners scale their cybersecurity practices while delivering measurable value to customers in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
