Quantum eMotion Corp. (QeM) has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of SKV Technology Inc., a California-based cybersecurity company. Through this transaction, QeM will gain control of the SecureKey platform originally developed and commercialized by Jet Lab Technologies Inc. and currently held by SKV. As a result, QeM significantly strengthens its quantum-based cybersecurity portfolio and expands its commercial footprint in secure software and cryptographic enforcement.

With this acquisition, QeM strategically combines the SecureKey platform with its QRNG-powered Sentry-Q orchestration layer. Consequently, the company will deliver a fully integrated, quantum-resilient cybersecurity architecture that spans cloud, network, endpoint, and chip-level environments. This move reinforces QeM’s long-term vision of building end-to-end quantum-safe security solutions designed for next-generation digital infrastructure.

From Entropy to Enforcement: A Unified Security Stack

At the core of QeM’s architecture lies the Sentry-Q platform, which generates quantum random number generator (QRNG)-based entropy and master keys. In addition, Sentry-Q orchestrates secure point-to-point encrypted communication while defining authentication policies, key rotation protocols, post-quantum cryptography (PQC) strategies, hybrid cipher suites, and revocation controls. Therefore, organizations gain centralized visibility and policy-driven governance across distributed systems.

Meanwhile, SecureKey brings hardened, software-based cryptographic enforcement anchored to hardware boundaries. The platform accelerates secure channels directly on devices, protects keys from extraction and tampering, and supports TLS, IPsec, VPN, and session offload. Furthermore, it establishes secure tunnels at the edge, within devices, SoCs, network interface cards, and embedded controllers. By integrating both technologies, QeM creates a layered defense model that begins with quantum-grade entropy and extends through execution-bound enforcement.

Dr. Francis Bellido, CEO of Quantum eMotion, stated: “Sentry-Q orchestrates quantum-grade entropy and security policy at the cloud layer. SecureKey enforces that trust at the execution boundary through hardened cryptographic software integrated with hardware environments. Together, Sentry-Q + SecureKey deliver full-stack quantum-resilient security from QRNG-generated entropy to endpoint enforcement dramatically reducing key exposure risks while accelerating post-quantum migration.”

Similarly, Jason Thomas, founder of SKV and Jet Lab, emphasized the architectural advantage of the integration: “SecureKey was built to eliminate persistent key exposure and to bring hardware-grade protection into deployable software environments. By integrating SecureKey with QeM’s QRNG-driven Sentry-Q platform, we can deliver a uniquely powerful architecture that combines quantum-grade entropy with execution-bound enforcement. This integration positions QeM to address critical infrastructure, cloud, defense, and regulated markets with a truly next-generation security stack.”

Zero-Exposure Keys and Market Expansion

Notably, the acquired portfolio includes a patent-pending “memory-less” cryptographic framework branded as Zero-Exposure Keys. This architecture eliminates persistent key storage, directly addressing one of the leading causes of cyber breaches: stolen keys and credentials. In addition, the solution delivers government-grade protection in software form, leverages NIST-validated encryption components, and offers a clear pathway toward FIPS certification without requiring proprietary hardware modules.

Given that global spending on security and risk management continues to rise driven by cloud adoption, regulatory pressure, and nation-state threats this acquisition positions QeM to compete more aggressively in a market exceeding $150 billion. Moreover, the inclusion of production-ready cryptographic libraries, VPN and firewall implementations, and enterprise-compatible integrations enables immediate commercialization.

As part of the agreement, Jason Thomas will join Quantum eMotion in an executive development role. He will support product integration, commercialization strategy, and expansion of SecureKey within QeM’s broader roadmap. Ultimately, this acquisition transforms QeM’s offering from a quantum entropy provider into a full-stack quantum-resilient cybersecurity powerhouse ready to scale across critical infrastructure, AI data centers, defense, industrial IoT, and regulated sectors worldwide.
