Kyndryl has launched its first Cyber Defense Operations Center (CDOC), a next-generation command hub that unifies network operations and security operations into a single integrated operating model. Located in Bengaluru, the new Center will deliver global cybersecurity and network expertise to help enterprises accelerate incident response, strengthen resilience, and improve overall IT performance.

As organizations expand their digital ecosystems, they are facing growing IT complexity driven by hybrid cloud adoption, AI-powered workloads, and distributed edge environments. At the same time, enterprises must manage rising cyber threats, costly downtime, and increasing demand for uninterrupted digital services. According to the 2025 Kyndryl Readiness Report, only 31% of organizations consider themselves prepared for external business risks, with technology complexity identified as a key barrier to scaling AI initiatives. Consequently, the traditional separation between network and security operations is no longer sustainable.

The rapid emergence of agentic AI systems operating autonomously across cloud, data centers, and edge infrastructure has further intensified the need for unified operational visibility. Without integration, security and network teams often work in silos, slowing response times and creating blind spots.

“As AI adoption surges and hybrid IT environments become more distributed, enterprises face faster, more intelligent cyber risks and a growing shortage of skilled talent to manage them,” said Paul Savill, Global Cyber Security and Resiliency, Network and Edge Practice Leader, Kyndryl. “Kyndryl’s Cyber Defense Operations Center introduces a unified, agile operating model that combines AI-enabled insights with deep networking and security expertise, helping customers strengthen resilience, accelerate incident response, and increase end-to-end visibility across the IT ecosystem.”

To address these challenges, Kyndryl’s Cyber Defense Operations Center delivers real-time visibility, unified monitoring, and collaborative analysis across both network and security domains. In addition, the Center provides end-to-end services from advisory and architecture design to implementation and fully managed operations allowing enterprises to modernize and operate IT environments with improved efficiency and uptime.

The new Center integrates several advanced capabilities. First, AI-enabled assessment services leverage the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework to evaluate environments, detect operational and security gaps, and prioritize remediation strategies. This approach creates a data-driven roadmap for modernization and long-term managed services. Second, role-based operational dashboards provide persona-driven, real-time insights tailored for executives, security teams, network engineers, incident commanders, and DevSecOps leaders, thereby enhancing cross-functional collaboration.

Moreover, automated end-to-end operations reduce manual handoffs and alert fatigue through integrated runbooks, security telemetry, and streamlined playbooks. These capabilities accelerate detection and response while supporting Zero Trust security principles at scale.

The Cyber Defense Operations Center builds upon Kyndryl’s existing global network of security operations centers and network operations centers across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. It will also integrate with Kyndryl Bridge, the company’s AI-powered open-integration platform, creating a unified operational view of network and security telemetry. Together, these facilities provide 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and performance management worldwide.

Looking ahead, Kyndryl plans to expand the Cyber Defense Operations Center model beyond India to meet growing global demand. The launch further strengthens the company’s broader portfolio of AI-era network and security services, including advanced data center networking, secure access service edge (SASE), and quantum-safe networking solutions.
