Tanium, a global leader in Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM), announced that it has been officially authorized by the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) Program as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). This designation enables Tanium to identify, document, and publicly disclose cybersecurity vulnerabilities found within its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and on-premises products, along with the corresponding fixes and remediation guidance.

As a CNA, Tanium will issue CVE Identifiers (CVE IDs) and related CVE Records to ensure that vulnerabilities are properly cataloged and shared with the broader security community. This contribution helps facilitate open collaboration and information exchange, strengthening overall cyber resilience across industries.
“Tanium is reaffirming our commitment to transparency, security, and accountability—both in how we develop our products and in how we support our customers,” said Loic Simon, Vice President of Security at Tanium. “Since 2017, we have maintained a strong record of responsible vulnerability disclosure. Being named a CNA marks the next phase of our maturity in proactive vulnerability management and underscores our dedication to advancing global cybersecurity practices.”
