Intel 471, a global leader in cyber threat intelligence solutions, has announced a new collaboration with the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program. Established in 2011, the SkillBridge initiative helps transitioning service members gain practical civilian work experience through industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during their final 120 days of active duty. With nearly 50% of Intel 471’s workforce coming from law enforcement, military, or intelligence backgrounds, the company is uniquely positioned to assist service members in navigating the move from military to civilian careers.

“Having served nearly 12 years with the United States Marine Corps, I understand firsthand the challenges of transitioning to civilian life,” said Jason Passwaters, CEO of Intel 471. “This program is especially meaningful to me, and our participation reflects Intel 471’s commitment to supporting those who have served our country and helping them succeed in their next chapter.”
Through the DoD SkillBridge program, participants will receive an in-depth introduction to Intel 471’s operations, technologies, and intelligence practices. The internship provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth in the Intel 471 Intelligence Department. Interns will contribute to intelligence analysis, evaluate threat actor activities, and support both tactical and strategic projects, all in a remote-friendly environment.

Interns will also immerse themselves in Intel 471’s core principles—openness, inclusion, integrity, and client focus—while building professional relationships and supporting key projects that enhance business operations.
“Our partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program benefits everyone involved,” added Passwaters. “It allows us to honor and support our nation’s service members while bringing their unique skills and perspectives into our organization. We’re always looking for talented individuals with a mission-driven mindset and a commitment to doing what’s right.”
