Designation Reinforces NinjaOne’s Commitment to Compliant, Simplified IT for More than 1,400 State, Local Government and Education (SLED) Customers

NinjaOne, the automated endpoint management platform, announced the NinjaOne Platform received Government Risk and Authorization Management Program (GovRAMP) Authorization at a Moderate Impact Level. GovRAMP (formerly StateRAMP) is a standardized cloud security framework that solution providers must meet, providing State and Local Governments and Education (SLED) organizations with stronger security and more confidence in the products chosen for their specific use cases. NinjaOne’s GovRAMP Authorization is the latest evidence of the company’s commitment to deliver visibility, security and control over all endpoints for SLED organizations.

NinjaOne has more than 30,000 customers around the world, including more than 1,400 SLED customers across the United States. These organizations are facing increased endpoint security threats, sprawling IT environments and a unique set of operational and budgetary challenges. On average, only 68% of an organization’s devices are managed by IT or their third-party provider, and more than half of organizations (54%) report experiencing a cyberattack due to unknown, unmanaged or poorly managed endpoints.* To minimize risk and keep their organizations running, SLED IT teams need automated endpoint management and security.

“GovRAMP requires vendors to meet a rigorous set of compliance and security standards, which are increasingly important for State and Local agencies like ours. When it comes to adhering to protocols including NIST, HIPAA or PCI, NinjaOne has supported our efforts by making it easier to deploy policies and controls that align with those standards,” said Ben Perryman, City Hall, Cybersecurity Division of General Service Department, IT for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. “Scripted tasks, software deployments and endpoint automation that would have been difficult or time-consuming to manage manually have become far more efficient with the right tooling in place.”

“SLED IT teams face a host of challenges due to their highly distributed nature, mix of new and legacy IT infrastructure and diverse needs of the users they support – not to mention, there are more endpoints to manage and secure in the face of increasing risks,” said Aaron Kinworthy Vice President of Public Sector at NinjaOne. “We are obsessed with customer success at NinjaOne, which is why GovRAMP is an important initiative for our team. Now, we’re better able to serve SLED customers with the NinjaOne platform, making them more productive, efficient and resilient.”

“NinjaOne’s GovRAMP Authorization is a significant achievement and reinforces its commitment to SLED organizations and customers,” said Craig P. Abod, Carahsoft President. “GovRAMP streamlines key processes and reduces the number of resources needed while strengthening customers’ trust in their security posture. As NinjaOne’s Master Government Aggregator®, this achievement enhances our partnership with NinjaOne, enabling accessibility to cloud-first, automated endpoint management solutions for SLED organizations. We look forward to working with NinjaOne and our reseller partners to continue bringing these critical solutions to the Public Sector.”
